The 15 Hour Potato
Our take on THAT viral Tiktok recipe - The 15 hour potato using our very own Original potato seasoning for added crunch!
We used a standard loaf tin at 6.5cm deep, 18-21cm long,10-11cm wide. Try another flavoured Puréety Potato Seasoning for a twist on this dish!
Cooking Method
- Pre heat the oven to 140c - gas mark 1 - 120c fan
- Slice the potatoes finely using a mandolin. Then add to the bowl with the goose fat and the Puréety Original potato seasoning
- Line a loaf tin with greaseproof paper and proceed to layer the potatoes up in the tin, place another sheet of greaseproof paper on top of the potatoes and press down firmly
- Cook the potatoes in the oven for 2.5 - 3 hours or until the potatoes are cooked
- Once cooked, use tins e.g. baked beans on top to keep the potatoes pressed down and place in the fridge for a minimum of 12 hours
- Take the potatoes out of the fridge and portion into 4 slices (use a ruler or tape measure for precision)
- Fry in oil @180c until crispy and golden brown
- Sprinkle with sea salt and enjoy

- 800g Maris Piper Potatoes , Sliced - finely
- 5tbsp Goose Fat or Beef Dripping , Melted
- Pinch Sea Salt
