Classic Chicken Casserole
Delicious chicken thigh, in a classic casserole with diced carrots and notes of garlic and parsley
This makes a great pie filling; simply top with mash or pastry and bake in the oven Slow cooker method - add all ingredients into slow cooker for 3 hours on high or 6 hours on low (depending on cut or size of chicken please use these times as a guide only) stirring intermittently. You may need to add a splash of water if sauce becomes too thick. Bulk recipe out with frozen peas/sweetcorn add for the last hour of cooking in slow cooker or last 30 mins in oven.
Cooking Method
- Pre heat the oven 180c, 170c fan oven or gas 4
- Mix the chicken and vegetables together in a casserole dish or an ovenproof dish
- Mix the Pureety Chicken Casserole seasoning with 300ml of water and pour over the chicken and vegetable mix
- Cook for 1 hour and 20 minutes or until the chicken is cooked through and tender
