Baked Halloumi and Avocado Fajita
Fajita spiced baked halloumi cheese with peppers and onions served up in a tortilla wrap with avocado, soured cream, salsa & chilli sauce - add a kick to your next Fajita night!
This recipe would also work in an Air Fryer
Cooking Method
- Pre-heat the oven to 200c or fan oven 180c or gas mark 6
- Mix the Pureety Fajita seasoning with the olive oil
- In a mixing bowl, mix the peppers, onions & halloumi slices with the Fajita oil
- Scatter the peppers and onions on the base of a cooking tray and top with the halloumi
- Place in the oven for 20-25 mins until the halloumi is golden brown
- When the halloumi is cooked, it's time to build the wraps up with the peppers onions halloumi and sliced avocado
- Squeeze the lime juice on and garnish with sour cream, salsa, chilli sauce & coriander... enjoy!
Ingredients
- 450g Halloumi
- 2tbsp Olive Oil
- 1 Lime , Quartered
- 1 Avocado , Sliced
- 10g Coriander , Chopped
- 200g Sour Cream & Chive
- 8 Soft Tortillas
- 1 Red Onion , Sliced
- 2 Peppers (mixed colours) , Sliced
- 2tbsp Hot Sauce , To taste
- 200g Salsa
