Classic Bolognese
A rich tomato based sauce with herbs and garlic, with minced beef
Best served with pasta or used in a lasagne
Cooking Method
- Heat a large pan with the oil and brown the mince
- Add the onion & carrot and soften on a medium heat
- Stir the Bolognese seasoning through the mince, onions and carrots and then add chopped tomatoes and 300ml of water.
- Bring to the boil and simmer for 30-40 mins
- Add the fresh basil & enjoy!
Ingredients
- 1 Medium White Onion , Diced
- 500g Minced Beef
- 400 (tin)g Chopped Tomatoes
- 100g Carrot
- 15g Basil
- 1tspn Cooking Oil
- 300ml Water
