Classic Chilli Con Carne
Beef & chorizo enveloped in a deep, spicy and smoky sauce. Chilli Con Carne is like a chilli-flavoured beef stew
Use diced beef instead of mince then cook low and slow. Add extra fresh chilli or chilli flakes to spice it up or add tsp of cocoa powder for a different flavour twist
Cooking Method
- Heat up a deep-sided pan with a drop of oil then cook diced chorizo for 2-3 minutes to release natural oils
- Next on a high heat, fry the mince in the same pan, breaking up and frying until starting to brown
- Add the diced red onion and soften
- Add the Pureety Chilli Con Carne seasoning and mix through
- Now add the water, chopped tomatoes & kidney beans
- Bring to the simmer for 25-45 minutes depending on how intense you would like the flavours
- Serve & enjoy with some rice and nachos, this dish would be great in burritos or just with a jacket potato

- 400g Minced Beef
- 1ml Red Onion , Diced
- 1ml Red Pepper , Diced
- 200g Chorizo Sausage , Diced
- 400g Chopped Tomatoes
- 1punnet Cherry Tomatoes , Quartered
- 100ml Water
- 240g Kidney Beans , Drained
