This would also make a great pie filling; simply add mash or pastry and bake in the oven. For a richer casserole, try replacing some or all of the water with a red wine Slow cooker method - add all ingredients into slow cooker for 3 hours on high or 6 hours on low (depending on cut or size of chicken please use these times as a guide only) stirring intermittently. You may need to add a splash of water if sauce becomes too thick. Bulk recipe out with frozen peas/sweetcorn add for the last hour of cooking in slow cooker or last 30 mins in oven.
