Firstly empty the contents of the Pureety Hickory Barbeque sachet into a small saucepan and add the water.
Bring to the boil and lower the heat and simmer for 3 minutes stirring all the time.
Remove from the heat and allow to cool.
Next insert equal amounts of halloumi, mushroom, red onion and peppers onto each of the 4 skewers.
Using a pastry brush, liberally brush the garlic oil all over the kebabs and season with salt and pepper as required.
To cook the skewers, place onto a barbeque or under a hot grill and cook for 7-10 minutes, or until the kebabs are golden brown on all sides.
Remove from the heat and place on a serving plate.
Pour the cool barbeque sauce into 2 small serving pots and serve on the side.
This dish is also great served with a side salad and buttered corn on the cobs!
